Where do I start?

Starting can sometimes be the hardest part of working on a new project or embarking on a new goal.

When it comes to home and life organisation, I find chunking the tasks can make the entire project seem manageable.



Where do I like to begin? Start by making your bed! Not only will the room look instantly better but you will then have space to put the things that might be on the floor and then you can clear your floor, as the next task.

William H. McRaven, retired Navy four-star admiral and former chancellor of The University of Texas even wrote a book about the key mental health benefits of this ritual called ‘Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life... And Maybe the World.’

The anecdotal evidence supporting positive mental health and bed making has shown a number of benefits such as:

- A sense of calm

-Better sleep

-Enhanced organisation

-Improved focus

-Relaxation
