The beginning of the Christmas season...

I'm so excited! I've been like this for a few weeks now. I've been waiting in anticipation for Halloween to be over and Christmas to begin. I love Christmas and I love Christmas decor. I love the feeling in my home when it's decorated with trees, lights, nativities and all things Christmas. I love the smell of Christmas, the fir trees, the gingerbread. I love this time of year.

Today I wanted to share my first Christmas decorating idea for this season- mini chair wreaths. I can't claim this idea as my own but I can show you how I did it. This is an easy and cost effective way to make a big impact with your Christmas decor- Mini Christmas Wreaths.

I bought my wreath from Kmart. They are cost effective at $5.00 each. They sell out pretty quickly. I purchased 4 as I have 4 bar stools I was intending to put them on. I purchased ribbon from Spotlight. My choice was $13.00 a role and I needed two rolls. It depends how much you want your wreath to hang down as to how much ribbon you need.

METHOD:

  1. Fluff out your wreath. Cut off the tag.

  2. Thread the ribbon through the centre of the wreath and around the chair, tie it with a bow.

  3. Position the bow at the top of the wreath.

and done!

A simple, yet effective Christmas decor idea for you. Consider trying something new this year or starting a new holiday tradition. I'm really looking forward to celebrating Christmas this year especially as we have family travelling and the cousins can all be together.

Best wishes as you embark on the 2023 Christmas season. Reach out to us at home-centred@outlook.com or on the socials if we can support you being home centred, this Christmas season. It's what we do!
